I really like this climb because of the location and the quality of the rock. Also, the climbing is sustained and the final pitch has some exhilarating moves. The route goes up a large, black, right facing dihedral that ends at a huge roof. Below is a beautiful pool with a small creek. The canyon floor is shady, there is usually a cool breeze making its way down the valley.

If you want to do an excellent 5.8 climb in a beautiful setting, don’t miss this climb. The final pitch is the psychological crux. You can easily link the first two pitches.

I have seen ropes get stuck in the corner crack of the climb. There is a station about 35m below the upper anchors and slightly to climbers’ right. This is one of the belay stations for Shadows Edge, I think this one is called. By using this station, you avoid rappelling onto other climbers. This is a popular route. Also, have fun trying to keep your ropes dry after you rap to the bottom.
